Guidelines for Scenery Box/Diorama

Product:
Creation of a model demonstrating a setting from Two Old Women or a scene appropriate to your topic of Native Alaskan Culture.

Process:

1. Research your topic carefully and use your imagination to create a scene from the book or one that is relevant to your chosen topic. Be creative and imaginative.

2. Materials: You will need a shoe box or other small box to create your scene. construction paper or pain to make the background. Materials for constructing trees, animals, and shelter. Can use small stones to illustrate large rocks. Everything is to appear three dimensional or real, but on a small scale. Small toys make great representations.

Contents:
Must contain a scene from the book or relevant topic of your choice. A one page written explanation is also required outlining what the scene represents.
